This is education, not advice
The information here is written for the general reader and does not replace a personal medical consultation. It cannot tell you whether an operation, an injectable or neither is appropriate for your nose, your breathing or your health.
No outcome is guaranteed
No treatment can be guaranteed. How a nose settles after surgery, how long an injectable lasts and how the skin responds to it all vary between individuals. A clinician who promises a specific result before examining you is describing something other than medicine.
The vascular risk is real
Material injected into the nose can enter the blood supply of the skin and, in the rarest cases, reach the circulation of the eye. This is uncommon and serious. It is why the nose is treated as a high-risk area, why an experienced injector and the means to dissolve the material matter, and why this site states the risk before describing the benefit.
Revision is a second operation
A revision is a further operation on a nose that has already been operated on. It carries added risk rather than removing the risk of the first, which is why this site discusses it before the first operation rather than after.
